Spier The Yellowwood Organic Rosé pours into the glass in a vibrant pink and delights the nose with its fresh aromas of raspberries and strawberries. Light nuances of candy floss and lemon blossom add the finishing touches. The cuvée of Shiraz (58%), Merlot (34%) and Malbec (8%) is just as complex on the palate. Spier The Yellowwood Organic Rosé scores particularly well here with its great strawberry note. A hint of vanilla and a fresh acidity make the taste experience perfect. However, the rosé, whose grapes come from organic cultivation, is not just a highlight for the palate on its own. Mild cheese, sushi or smoked salmon can be perfectly combined with Spier The Yellowwood Organc Rosé.

Smoked salmon on herb quiche


Preparation:


Preheat the oven to 220° C. Heat half the butter in a pan and fry the sliced leek until soft. Mix the vegetables with the eggs, spinach, parsley and dill to form a thick batter. Season with a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Heat the remaining butter in a frying pan and add the batter. Stir with a spatula for about two minutes so that the mixture is lumpy but still liquid. Bake the dough in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes until it has set, then leave to cool at room temperature. Then spread the sour cream over the quiche, slice the avocado and arrange on top with the salmon. Season, garnish with fresh lemon wedges and serve.
