More information about Daisy

The story of our daisy begins with a farewell. Unfortunately, our friends Tommy and Elke from malt&hops have decided to stop brewing beer on a larger scale at the end of 2019.

But even if the two can no longer enrich the Freiburg craft beer scene with new creations, at least their classic Fresh Daisy will remain available to all beer lovers.

When they asked us if we would like to brew their Daisy in the future, we didn't have to think twice. On the one hand, because we think Fresh Daisy is a fantastic beer. And on the other hand, because we thought it would be a nice idea for Tommy and Elke to somehow remain part of the Freiburg craft beer scene.

And so Fresh Daisy became "daisy - Freiburg Pale Ale". That was it with the changes, apart from the label. After all, what else should we have changed or improved about this beer? Daisy has always had everything that makes a really tasty craft beer.

Immediately after pouring, a whole bouquet of fresh, fruity aromas pours from the glass, of tropical fruits and citrus.
With the first sip, daisy then finally becomes an absolute taste sensation, as the fresh, fruity notes harmonize perfectly with the full-bodied, slightly creamy malty base. Simply a pleasure!

In conclusion, all that remains for us to say is that daisy will remain true to its motto in its new outfit: as fresh as a daisy!

Die Brauhandwerker
Beer is a fascinating beverage in our eyes. From just a few ingredients, expert hands create the most diverse varieties, and with only minor changes to the recipe, a completely different taste direction can be taken. For us, beer means diversity: and we would like to contribute our share to this diversity. For the production of our craft beer specialties, we naturally use only natural ingredients and the best, soft spring water from the Upper Black Forest. Additives and preservatives are absolutely taboo for us. Because purity and quality are the measure of all things for us. And we think you can taste that in every sip. And so our craft beer specialties are created with a lot of love and passion, Franconian down-to-earthness, American love of experimentation and creativity. Special beers with a unique, unmistakable character that simply taste delicious. Franconian drinkable -... [Read more]
