More information about Stone Brewing Tangerine Express Hazy IPA
Modesty is a word that is not in the repertoire of the exceptional Berlin brewers from Stone Brewing. In their creation Tangerine Express IPA, this is reflected in the list of ingredients: In addition to the fabulous five hop varieties Citra, Centennial, Sterling, Azacca and Mosaic, the brewers use fresh fruit puree of pineapple and tangerine. The result is a tropical, fruity cocktail that tastes wonderfully fresh of citrus and very subtle of pineapple.
Stone Brewing's Tangerine Express IPA has the sunny yellow color of freshly squeezed orange juice in the glass and is just as cloudy. A small amount of airy, white foam sits on the cloudy beer and exudes a heavenly aroma of juicy tangerine and tangy citrus peel. The citrus scent is joined by subtle notes of hoppy herbs and freshly baked cookies. The first sip is just as hoppy as you would expect: a crisp hop bitterness unfolds strongly on the tongue before the fruit spectacle begins. Accompanied by a dominant bitterness, a whole bouquet of different citrus notes blossoms on the palate and delights the taste buds with full-bodied aromas of grapefruit, mandarin, lemon, orange peel and subtle pineapple. A delicate herbal note and a hint of pine resin skilfully round off the interplay of aromas. The finish is quite bitter and carries notes of grapefruit and tangerine that linger on the tongue for a long time.

Stone Brewing
Like all great stories in the craft beer business, Stone Brewing's begins with a passionate beer drinker brewing his own beer at home. Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing's very first brewmaster, gained his first brewing experience in his own kitchen, and it was a twist of fate when he met Greg Koch in 1989. A beer revolution The two beer aficionados drank countless bottles of beer together while making wild plans. One of those plans, to start their own brewery, persisted. Steve and Greg had planned a revolution: Their goal was to free America from the shackles of industrially brewed mass-produced beers - To move away from standard beers and turn to beery works of art from creative minds and bold craft brewers. In 1996, the time had come and the first keg of Stone Brewing's own production was sold. With this step, the two brewers are not only considered legends in the craft beer scene, but...
