More information about Winery Lisa Bunn Orbel Riesling 2016
The Lisa Bunn winery in Nierstein, Rheinhessen, famous for the Roter Hang, has been consistently carried to the top of the German wine scene for several years by the friendly and experienced couple Lisa Bunn and Bastian Strebel.
The Orbel Riesling 2016 is impressive proof of Lisa Bunn's successful creative power. Orbel is a sub-vineyard of the Roter Hang. It is a mature Riesling with a subtle petrol note on the nose and palate. A wine for connoisseurs of this style. In particular, the baroque nose of ripe exotic fruit, which appears fresh despite the wine's age, makes you want more! A lively acidity on the palate, which stimulates the expressive aromas of ripe pineapple, papaya and mango. The wine is given tension by its present minerality, which ensures a lot of drinking flow.
This Orbel Riesling calls for a high-quality fish such as monkfish fried on the skin and a beurre blanc with patate frite tossed in rosemary. It is also an ideal accompaniment to a selection of French cheeses such as Comté, Chaource or Vacherin Mont d'Or!
This wine makes for a successful evening with guests!
