More information about Wild capers from the Mani, Peloponnese Greece
Flower bud in brine.
Our capers grow wild on the rocky Mediterranean coast of the Mani peninsula. In early summer, they are hand-picked, soaked in water and preserved in brine. Their spicy, salty taste makes them a popular ingredient in salads.
They are also indispensable for many sauces, side dishes and dishes such as fish and lamb.
