More information about Allée Bleue L'Amour Toujours 2017
Fine aromas of fynbos, cigar box and cedar, wrapped in fruity blackberry - the Allée Bleue L'Amour Toujours already shows on the nose that it is the estate's best red wine. On the palate, the cuvée of Cabernet Franc (38%), Cabernet Sauvignon (36%), Merlot (19%) and Petit Verdot (7%) is no less impressive and complex. Notes of dark chocolate and cinnamon give the wine a rather spicy taste, while elegant and soft tannins ensure a pleasant mouthfeel. On its own, Allée Bleue L'Amour Toujours will wrap any red wine lover around its finger, but the wine, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak, is also always a good choice with duck or dark meat with sweet potatoes.

In 1999, the Dauphin family of German entrepreneurs acquired the ALLÉE BLEUE estate, which at that time was still known as MEERRUST. With a lot of pioneering spirit, they revitalized the estate, which was founded in 1690 and has an area of 150 hectares and had not produced a noble drop for over 100 years.
