More information about Bartinney Chardonnay 2021
The Bartinney Chardonnay presents itself in the glass in a clear yellow with light greenish reflections - an indication of its freshness. The nose reveals ripe citrus notes such as finely grated lemon peel, accompanied by the restrained scent of fresh brioche.
"On the palate, aromas reminiscent of lemon crème brûlée unfold, rounded off by a hint of mint. The decent wood influence adds structure, but remains pleasantly in the background. Overall, the wine is fresh, creamy and finely balanced - with a long, unobtrusive finish.
Chardonnay goes particularly well with tender chicken, for example with creamy sauces or light herbal notes. It also cuts a fine figure with seafood, salmon or creamy pasta - or simply on its own as a subtle soloist.
