See, smell, taste! The step-by-step guide is designed to help you enjoy a gin in a better, deeper and more multi-faceted way. Of course, it is primarily intended to educate and train your palate to taste more aromas and gradually more and more facets of a gin. The guide also helps you to tease the best out of a spirit and to break down and analyze the aromas into their various components. After all, that's the best thing about enjoying a spirit. The spicy one. Created in collaboration with a real flavor connoisseur from a customer edition. While talking shop with Heiko Brath, master butcher, grill master, master meat sommelier and Karlsruhe native, the spark was ignited. It quickly became clear that gin and barbecue food have a surprising number of things in common. Herbs and spices, for example.

A special kind of pleasure experience: our golden boy is stored in oak barrels for several months under close observation until it acquires its unique golden yellow color. The Breaks Reserve Gin develops its fresh, elegant aroma through its juniper note - supported by cardamom, lavender and coriander. The barrel ageing gives our golden boy a hint of wood, vanilla and caramel, rounding off its aromatic bouquet.

1x Grand Cru Choco Gin , New Western Dry Gin, 40 % vol.
Valrhona Grand Cru cocoa beans from Madagascar are used for this unique gin. Not only are the cocoa beans special, but tonka beans also find their way into the Choco Gin. In addition to other botanicals such as liquorice, cinnamon blossom and mace, juniper berries are also included.

The perfect balance between sweet and tart fruit flavors of cherries & plums, as well as a light note of aromatic bitter almond. Enriched with extracts of fresh sloes, the result is a very aromatic gin with distinctly fruity elements and a mildly tart character.

Aromatic time out. Take your break. Our name says it all, because we think "gin o' clock" is not just a saying, but time to say yes. To a few moments of break. To a glass of good gin. To simply letting the day be the day. And because the label "Breaks", once known as "Breaks Records", has been with us for a long time. But the former record store of Harald Reinholz is not the beginning. It goes back even further, when Harry was still small and his grandfather was an enthusiastic distiller. The future Breaks founder liked to look over his shoulder, "I think my fascination for distilling was already born back then," he says, and in 2014 he finally put the long-standing idea of creating his own gin into practice with the first recipe and distilling experiments.
