More information about Brauhaus Faust Winter Festbier
Traditionally, German breweries have a number of festive beers. Just in time for the arrival of colder days, Brauhaus Faust releases their annual Winter Festbier. The stout Märzen is the ultimate comfort beer on rainy November days, helping to get through the coldest of January days with malty excellence.
Faust's Winter Festbier flows into the glass in a deep golden amber hue, forming a fluffy, lightly tinted head. A potpourri of enticing aromas rises to the nose from the foam: sweet malt meets buttery caramel, a hint of spicy yeast and a fresh fruitiness join in. On the palate, the winter beer is delicately spicy and full-bodied sweet. The unmistakable taste of freshly baked bread spreads across the tongue, and a delicious honey aroma is added. The hops contribute a down-to-earth astringency and also give the beer a hint of citrus freshness. Otherwise, the winter beer is rather malty. Strong carbonation gives the beer a delightful effervescence and makes it creamy and smooth on the tongue. The finish is fruity and pleasantly dry.
In contrast to many festive beers of the Christmas season, the Winter Festbier from Faust is not an over-spiced punch, but a down-to-earth beer with character. Thanks to its soft sweetness and intense malt notes, it goes quite well with meat and heavy desserts. We also think that this beer is a good companion for the next winter barbecue session!

This is reflected not only in their great commitment to local associations, Franconian culture and social institutions in the region. The ingredients for the first-class beer also come from Franconian farmers and suppliers. The traditional brewery in Miltenberg has now existed for more than 360 years, more than 100 of which were owned by the Faust family.
