About the winery:
The Casetta family has been growing grapes in Vezza d'Alba since 1725 and has been passing on this tradition from generation to generation ever since. Their winery comprises 40 hectares of vineyards, many of which are situated in sunny south-facing locations in the magical Langhe and Roero regions.
The Roero is known as the region with the best viticulture in history. Grapes of incredible structure thrive in the Langhe due to the special climate and the soils interspersed with marl, limestone, clay and sedimentary rock. By carefully vinifying and ageing the wines, the Casetta family produces sophisticated and highly elegant red wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo and Barbera.
The family's philosophy is: "The nobility of wine begins in the vineyard."
