Matured for 2 years in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by refinement in steel until bottling.
Elegant, full-bodied bouquet with notes of ripe raspberries, rosehip, fine spices and wild roses. Delicately spicy and velvety tannins and a long finish round off the whole.
The Roero is a fascinating wine-growing region in Piedmont, northern Italy. It consists of 19 municipalities that have been known for centuries for producing wines of outstanding quality. This area, which stretches along the left bank of the River Tanaro, is not only known for its wines, but also for its breathtaking scenery.
