It is brewed by the Belgian brewery Huyghe, which developed the recipe in 1989 and has only made one minor change to date. Never change a running system!

Delirium Tremens is a Belgian strong beer that packs a punch: a juicy 8.5% sets the stage for an elegant interplay of aromas of strong malt and subtle notes of hops. Delirium Tremens comes in an elegant stoneware bottle and cuts a fine figure, and not just on the outside. In the glass, the Belgian specialty has a bright golden hue and forms a beautiful, strong head. Sweet and spicy aromas of ripe banana, yeast and fine citrus fruits emerge from the creamy, white foam. In the first sip, you can feel the warming alcohol, which emphasizes the strong aromas in the powerful body very well.
