More information about Quincy AOC "Les Vignes d'Adèle" Domaine Adèle Rouzé
Winemaker Adèle has not only followed in the footsteps of her father and brother and mastered the challenge, she has also given the Sauvignon Blanc grape her personal signature and refinement.
Harmonious notes of green apple and passion fruit meet hints of acacia, mint and white flowers. There is a hint of flint on the finish. Fresh, full of finesse and with a long finish.
About the winery:
Adèle Rouzé founded her own winery in 2003, working with her brother, an oenologist, who is also a winemaker like Adèle. The estate currently comprises 12 hectares of Sauvignon vines on sand and gravel soils, which rest on a clay subsoil. The vines are cultivated according to a sustainable viticulture concept that respects the environment and protects the flora and fauna.
The estate is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants de France winegrowers' association. Quincy is the first wine-growing area in the Centre-Loire region of France to receive the famous Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée in 1936.
