More information about Hambuca
Hambuca is the aniseed liqueur with maple syrup from Hamburg.
The name is made up of the aniseed spirit "Sambuca" and the hometown of Hambuca "Hamburg".
The real spices with star anise as the main ingredient mature in alcohol for several weeks. This process is called maceration. This produces the essential oils that make Hambuca so full-bodied and flavorful. Hambuca is refined with natural maple syrup. This gives it its special, caramelly and mild taste, as well as its unmistakable color, which is reminiscent of amber. Hambuca contains no refined granulated sugar, no artificial flavorings and no colorings. Maple syrup is characteristically sweeter than granulated sugar. Hambuca therefore requires less sugar.
Hambuca is a tribute to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg as a traditional trading city where goods from all over the world come together. Hambuca is the aniseed liqueur with maple syrup from Hamburg.

The combination of star anise and maple syrup convinced us immediately. Out came our creation of Hambuca. The anise liqueur from Hamburg! In Hambuca we combine spices whose scent reminds us of a walk in the Speicherstadt. For us, Hamburg as a Hanseatic city is the center of trade and a crossroads of cultures. This is where the most diverse spices, exotic luxury foods and other goods from distant lands come together. That's why, for us, a Hamburg product consists not only of products grown in Hamburg, but can also embody the cosmopolitan spirit of this city with ingredients that...
