Steamworks Hula Haze Tropical IPA is a South Seas dream in liquid form: The juicy India Pale Ale is brewed with fresh pineapple and concentrated peach juice and delights with great fruity notes and wonderful summery flair The aroma-intensive hop varieties Azacca, Cashmere, Simcoe and El Dorado support the powerful fruit character and also contribute a crisp bitterness that balances the sweet fruit
Hula Haze flows into the glass in the color of sun-drenched oranges and carries a fine-pored crown of creamy foam on the naturally cloudy body An enticing aroma of golden pineapple, ripe peach and other tropical fruit mingles in the nose with spicy resin, gentle malt and a hint of citrus The irresistible first impression continues in the first sip: A fruity tidal wave floods the palate and tickles the taste receptors on the tongue with notes of yellow stone fruit, pineapple, papaya, mango, peach, coconut and grapefruit The brewers have worked out every nuance of the hop varieties and woven them into a juicy fruit cocktail The malt contributes a soft, silky mouthfeel and subtle aromas of freshly baked cookies A subtle undertone of pine resin and a clean bitterness underline the summery interplay of flavors
Steamworks Hula Haze Tropical IPA scores with great fruit, fine acidity, dry bitterness and great spiciness
