The cuvée of Cinsault (40%), Syrah (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) also scores on the palate with juicy notes of red fruits accompanied by a hint of sweet spices. The tannins give the Stellenzicht Thunderstone Red, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak, a soft finish. You should definitely enjoy this red wine on its own, but it also goes wonderfully with spicy dishes with dark meat.
