More information about Jonston Winter Time Gin
Winter Time Gin is the latest offering from the Jonston Gin brand. The limited edition has been specially developed for the winter season and Christmas. The recipe has been composed around citrus fruits such as oranges and mandarins. A large amount of cocoa was also used. In addition to the classic blend of herbs and spices, the macerate was enriched with sloes and cranberries, among other things.
The gin has a rich and very intense aroma: first juniper, then distinctly citrusy: you can clearly smell oranges and mandarins. In the finish, you can sense cloves, cocoa and notes reminiscent of lemongrass, ginger and candied fruit. The taste of Winter Time Gin presents itself with juniper, orange peel, dark chocolate, nuts and pepper.
All in all dry and warming, Winter Time Gin is the perfect choice for a Christmas gift or cold winter evenings. It can be enjoyed neat (although it is quite tart in taste), but can also be used in combination with a good tonic or as an ingredient in cocktails.
