The best-known growing region for this grape is Piedmont. The region is best known for its Barbaresco and Barolo wines, which are also made from the Nebbiolo grape. Nebbiolo is a demanding grape. It is the first to appear in spring, but the last to ripen. It is often harvested more than a month after the other grapes. It feels most at home in colder climates, although it needs south-west facing fields to get as much sun as possible. While Barolos and Barbarescos are best stored for 5-10 years, our Feisty can be enjoyed immediately.
