More information about Mayoral Malbec 2019

Elegant and complex Malbec from vines that are on average 80 years old, with an aroma reminiscent of ripe dark plums, black cherries, cloves and toffee, as well as wonderfully smoky and earthy. Dense and powerful, with ripe and velvety tannins.

It finds its ideal balance through 18 months of ageing in French barriques. With the names "Nevisca", "Zagal", "Arrieros" and "Mayoral", the wines were named after the professional titles that existed in the Argentinian gaucho world at the time.

Matured for 18 months in French barriques.

Hacienda del Plata

Pablo comes from a traditional Argentine family, originally involved in the livestock and agricultural trades. María Laura Toso's family is a major player in Mendoza's wine industry. Together with their children Juan Pablo, Rosario and Inés, they invest their time, energy and creativity in the family business Hacienda del Plata. There they are constantly working to develop the personality of their wines. Hacienda del Plata wines are produced on two small vineyards, one in Chacras de Coria with 4.5 hectares and the other in Carrodilla with 8 hectares. In these vineyards there is viticultural precision that defines the identity of the wines.
