More information about Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Six Flowers 2021
The Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Six Flowers shimmers in a lemon yellow in the glass and pampers the senses of every white wine lover from the first moment with its fruity scent of ripe yellow apples and pear. Nuances of rose petals and hints of nutmeg and cookie add the finishing touches to the bouquet. On the palate, the cuvée of Chenin Blanc (26%), Sauvignon Blanc (24%), Chardonnay (20%), Viognier (12%), Riesling (12%) and Gewürztraminer (6%) is incredibly well structured and aromatic. Notes of grapefruit and nectarine are accompanied by hints of chamomile and undertones of butterscotch. Be sure to enjoy this exceptional white cuvée neat, but the wine also pairs beautifully with a curry of chicken, coconut and apricots. Goat cheese, asparagus or salads are also a good choice for the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Six Flowers. The name, by the way, refers to the flower that adorns the gable of the Cape Dutch Manor House. The ornament commemorates former owner Maria Marais and her six children.
