More information about Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Six Flowers 2023
The Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Six Flowers, matured in oak, presents itself in a pale lemon yellow in the glass. With its aroma profile of juicy peach, delicious pear and yellow apple, this wine is a true fruit composition. Light lavender notes play around the bouquet and allow a hint of brioche to shine through. The white wine cuvée made from the six grape varieties Chardonnay (26%), Chenin Blanc (26%), Sauvignon Blanc (19%), Viognier (13%), Gewürztraminer (8%) and Riesling (5%) is multi-layered, intense and scores with a great texture. The abundance of fruity nuances is coated with orange marmalade and a hint of vanilla. Be sure to serve the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Six Flowers with a chicken and coconut curry, a risotto, grilled peach or a crisp, fresh salad. An absolute recommendation: simply enjoy it on its own. Incidentally, the name "Six Flowers" is a tribute to the imaginative and combative widow Maria Marais and her five children. The six flowers can still be seen on the gable of the Manor House today.
