An intensely fruity olive oil made from early harvested premium class olives.
The word Agoureleo comes from the Greek words ágouros and éleon, which means unripe oil. Agoureleo is made from fresh, green, unripe olives and is absolutely natural. Our olives are lovingly harvested exclusively by hand. We do not use any tools or nets and harvest directly into the crate. We do not use damaged fruit or fallen fruit. Harvest time is September and October, when the olives are still green and unripe.
Like our Pangeaa extra virgin olive oil, our Pangaea Agoureleo has a very low acidity of less than 0.3%, well below the legal limit for extra virgin olive oils of 0.8%. It is delicious and at the same time rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids as well as important vitamins and valuable minerals.
Due to the early harvest, it is intensely fruity and has a higher proportion of polyphenols. This makes it a special, unique olive oil with added value for our health.
Excellent for cold dishes
We recommend using our Pangaea Agoureleo exclusively in cold dishes. You can use it to refine your salads and dips, create an aromatic pesto or simply enjoy it with a piece of fresh white bread, some salt and oregano. The latter tastes particularly fruity and delicious. To preserve the valuable polyphenols as much as possible, you should not heat our Pangaea Agoureleo.
Our Pangaea olive oils are natural. Any cloudiness caused by suspended matter is completely natural. Store in a cool, dark place and protect from direct sunlight.
