The founder of DELINIO is a trained olive oil taster and confirms that this olive oil has no off-flavors. It is the all-rounder oil for everyday use.
A very special organic oil of the Manaki variety, one of the fruitiest varieties in Greece. Mando inherited the land from her father, who in turn inherited it from his father, and so on. It is now the 4th generation.
The "youngest" olive trees are around 80-100 years old, and the "older" ones have probably been there for several centuries. The estate can be visited by appointment.
A premium class olive oil, obtained directly from olives using exclusively mechanical processes. Cold extracted. The olives were harvested green and very early. As a result, the fruit was not only good on the outside, but also on the inside. The single-variety DELINIO Manaki organic olive oil is something special and certainly a tip to stock up on for the year.
It can be used for cooking but of course also "pure", e.g. on cooked vegetables or potatoes! Or add a few drops to every spoonful of lentils or soup.
Medium - strongly fruity ( 5,5 !) in taste. You can feel the bitter notes in the mouth and also the slight spiciness in the finish.
