Thyme is the most famous of the Mediterranean herbs. Our thyme comes from the small herb farm of Tasoula and Niko. Tasoula and Niko are herbalists and have been dedicated to growing herbs for many years. Their farm is located on the foothills of the Pangaion Mountains near Kavala.
The endless hours of sunshine that the bushes receive throughout the year and the special microclimate in the region give our oregano its intense, unmistakable aroma. Tasoula and Niko harvest the herbs by hand. They are then dried naturally in the air and then rubbed by hand.
It is impossible to imagine Mediterranean cuisine without thyme. It goes perfectly with pizza, marinades for grilled meat, poultry, fish and seafood, soups and sauces.
