The Plaisir Grand Brut presents itself in the glass in a pale straw yellow with a fine, long-lasting perlage. This elegant South African sparkling wine delights the nose with a fragrant bouquet of wild roses, white pear and green apple. On the palate, the fine-sparkling mousseux is characterized by delicate hazelnut notes, a creamy texture and a fresh citrus component - lively, creamy and precise at the same time.
"The cuvée of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay combines the best of both grape varieties: Pinot Noir lends structure and fine cherry fruit, while the Chardonnay provides freshness and elegance. After traditional bottle fermentation, the Cap Classique matured for a full 28 months on the lees, developing its complex aromas and fine mousse structure.
