The Plaisir Merlot presents itself in the glass in a deep garnet red with a bright rim and exudes a fragrant bouquet of violets, sweet plum and a hint of graphite - a classic appearance with modern finesse.
"On the palate, ripe aromas of plums and blackberries unfold, accompanied by a smooth interplay of tannins and acidity. The soft texture and lingering finish make this Merlot a real pleasure wine with depth and presence.
The maturation for 12 to 16 months in French barriques - 35% of which is new wood - gives the wine structure without masking the fruit. Multi-layered, round and full-bodied, this red wine is ideal with game dishes, braised beef or lightly spicy dishes.
