The Plaisir Petit Plaisir Red Blend is a deep red in the glass, reminiscent of ruby and garnet. The nose is pampered by a fragrant interplay of aromas of black cherries, fine spices, vanilla and a hint of oak - an inviting first impression.
"On the palate, the full-bodied cuvée of Merlot (25%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%), Malbec (23%), Cabernet Franc (14%) and Petit Verdot (13%) impresses with its elegant structure and an expressive fruit profile. Blackberry, blackcurrant and subtle hints of white chocolate provide depth and character. Soft tannins harmoniously round off the taste experience.
After 16 to 22 months of ageing in French oak, the Red Blend is complex and balanced - a wine with South African soul and classic style.
An ideal accompaniment to dark meat, hearty dishes or simply for enjoyable evenings.
