The Plaisir Chenin Blanc glows a bright lime green in the glass and exudes an invitingly fruity bouquet. Aromas of honeydew melon, grapefruit and white pear unfold in many layers and are reminiscent of a cool summer's day.
"On the palate, the wine delights with its elegant, creamy texture, which is balanced by a lively, fresh acidity. Ageing in French oak - nine months on the lees in multiple barriques - provides additional depth and a round mouthfeel without overpowering the freshness.
A versatile food companion: Particularly recommended with whole baked trout with lemongrass, roasted chicken with rice salad or a creamy pasta with seafood. The Plaisir Chenin Blanc also impresses on its own with character, freshness and elegance.
