More information about Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2019
The Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc exudes tropical aromas of apple, peach and quince as soon as it flows into the glass. Added to this is its mineral balanced character, which the wine owes to the grapes that come from 40 year old vines, as they give it a very unique and complex structure. It is joined by a slightly spicy undertone of fenugreek and a fruity flavor explosion of nectarine, peach and lemon that seduces the palate. The white wine can be enjoyed wonderfully pure, but the Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc also proves to be an optimal and versatile food companion, which goes well with fish and seafood, but also harmonizes excellently with a curry or spicy dishes.
