Rose Valley plum brandy barrel aged

Our barrel-aged plum brandy is made from hand-picked fruit from our own orchard. The plums are pitted for this directly after harvesting, the result is a pure and strong fruit flavor, but without the typical almond flavor of the stones. The distillate is then aged for 12 months in mulberry barrels. The result is fruity notes paired with tart/woody/sweet aromas of the mulberry wood.

Aroma:
Mild alcohol, strong, fruity aroma paired with distinctive sweet, tart, woody inherent flavors of the mulberry barrel.

Ingredients:
Plums, from regional home gardens and our own orchard.

Processing:
The fully ripe fruits are hand-picked, pitted and gently cold fermented.

Production:
gentle double distillation

Bottling quantity:
Approx. 250 bottles per year

Application:
as an aperitif and digestif

Storage:
At least 12 months of barrel aging, aging in 100 liter mulberry wooden barrel.

45% vol.
