The idea for the first product, a wine spritzer consisting of rosé wine and homemade orange soda (cult drink in Rheinhessen), filled in glass bottles, came to Anna and Patrick in 2012 through their attachment to the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen with its special features and customs. From the very beginning, it was clear to the two Rheinhesseners that they wanted to place their product Sechzisch Vierzisch in the context of its regional origins. The product and brand name, which is based on the mixing ratio, was therefore written in the spelling of the Rhine-Hessian dialect, which is also used repeatedly in the communication surrounding the product. In addition to the reference to the region of origin and the carefully selected regional BIO wines, the bottle design around "Henry" and "Lotte" plays a central role at Sechzisch Vierzisch GmbH. Our non-alcoholic alternatives to vodkas, liqueurs and wines do not fully reflect the taste and aroma of their original counterparts, in which the high alcohol content specifically stimulates the trigeminal nerve. However, for people abstaining from drinking alcohol - e.g. due to driving a car, taking medications or pregnancy - consuming non-alcoholic drinks, in addition to their sensory function, is also intended to replace specific behaviors related to alcohol consumption. This is achieved by the appropriate selection of the surroundings, the type of glass and additives used (ice, juices, carbonated drinks), as well as the celebration of tasting and raising toasts. Sociological research has proven that maintaining rituals when drinking nonalcoholic beverages -regardless of whether in company or alone -can effectively eliminate the tendency to drink alcohol.

Skiclub Kampen is the producer of the multi-award winning NORTH SEA Vodka's and the NORTH SEA Gin, which won the Trophy of the Gin Challenge in London 2019. We, from the pleasure manufactory Sleeping Forest, have made it our task to create a gin that is as unique as its home. Deep forests, quiet rivers and a breathtaking landscape characterize the surroundings of Tambach-Dietharz, a tranquil place in the Thuringian Forest. This sense of tranquility and naturalness, hand-picked ingredients from the local forests, finely balanced flavors and a love of craftsmanship combine to create an incomparable taste experience. We are a very young company and produce our gin by hand in very small badges. No mass production, each bottle is unique. The pleasure, quality and the joy of drinking are our first priority. So far, Sleeping Forest Gin is offered exclusively here in our region and has found its way to a few select shelves and bars. In addition, we are also pursuing another mission. Because with every bottle of our gin sold, we donate 1€ to the Children's Hospice of Central Germany located here in Tambach-Dietharz. Enjoy and do good.
