More information about Sofia tis Fisis Basil Garlic Vinegar
The basis for this vinegar are ripe, hand-picked grapes of the famous Greek grape variety Agiorgitiko, from which wine is made according to the traditional methods. The vines are cultivated exclusively within the origin-protected region of Nemea, where the Nemea PDO wine is produced.
During the vinification process, the temperature is systematically measured. No sulfites or other additives are used in any production step, producing a wine with intense aromas of fruits and spices and a distinctive ruby red color. This is followed by acidification with controlled addition of oxygen.
The result is a vinegar with a varied and full aroma. Last but not least, the vinegar is given the finishing touch with dried basil and whole cloves of garlic, which come from the vineyards.
Use it anywhere you can think of basil or garlic.
Tasting notes: Red color with brown tones. Pronounced aromas of basil and garlic with hints of dried red fruits. Acidic and spicy taste with notes of basil pesto on the finish.
Tasting notes: Pale yellow color with green and pink tones, aromas of thyme and citrus. Acidic taste with notes of herbs on the finish.
