More information about Sofia tis Fisis Thyme Vinegar
The base for this vinegar is ripe, hand-picked grapes of the Roditis variety, which come from the Marmouzia vineyards on the slopes of the Egalia wine region in the northwestern Peloponnese.
The grapes are fermented at low temperatures to obtain a wine with rich aroma, from which a strong white wine vinegar with lively acidity is produced.
Washed and dried thyme, which grows around the vineyards, infuses in the vinegar for a few days until the characteristic spicy aroma develops. The result is a vinegar with a varied and full aroma that goes perfectly with green salads, vegetables, legumes and fish.
This product has been produced from organic farming in accordance with EU Regulation 834/2007 and, of course, without flavor enhancers and preservatives.
The vinegar is packed in a glass bottle with a practical spout for drip-free pouring at the table.
Tasting notes: Pale yellow color with green and pink tones, aromas of thyme and citrus. Acidic taste with notes of herbs on the finish.
