The Steenberg Sémillon shines in a beautiful, pale golden hue. Seductive aromas of cinnamon, dried apricot and orange blossom unfold on the nose. These are complemented by fine notes of ripe nectarine and yellow apples.
"The fruity aroma is reflected on the palate, accompanied by pronounced vanilla nuances. The concentrated fruit gives the wine a harmonious balance before it unfolds with a rich texture and lively acidity. A hint of citrus and floral spices lingers in the memory long after the last drop.
The Steenberg Sémillon will continue to gain in complexity and richness with age. However, this multi-faceted white wine, which has matured for ten months in French oak, is already a treat for the palate with pasta, fish or poultry.
