More information about Stone Brewing 25th Anniversary
Most craft beer breweries are still relatively young: the beginnings of the craft beer movement lie somewhere in the late 1990s, and it would be quite a while before word of craft beer brewed with innovative new techniques, fancy raw materials, oodles of hops, and fresh recipes spread around the world.
Among the pioneers of this new era were the brewers at Stone Brewing. The American brewery celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021. Since Corona had a firm grip on 2021, the team decided to postpone the festivities until 2022. To honor all the work, the successful and failed brewing experiments, the highs and the lows, the good times and the good beer of the past 25 years, the brewery brewed a festive beer to match the occasion.
Stones 25th Anniversary is a powerful Triple IPA that has been infused with the experience, passion, heart, mistakes and perseverance of the past 25 years.
At a stately 12.5% alcohol, the India Pale Ale is definitely a festive affair, plus the brewers invited no less than eight different hop varieties to the party. The result is a bright copper-colored beer with peach, apricot, orange, candied pineapple, lemongrass and pine resin in aroma and flavor.
A feat by our hop-loving friends.

Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing's very first brewmaster, gained his first brewing experience in his own kitchen, and it was a twist of fate when he met Greg Koch in 1989. A beer revolution The two beer aficionados drank countless bottles of beer together while making wild plans. One of those plans, to start their own brewery, persisted. Steve and Greg had planned a revolution: Their goal was to free America from the shackles of industrially brewed mass-produced beers - To move away from standard beers and turn to beery works of art from creative minds and bold craft brewers. In 1996, the time had come and the first keg of Stone Brewing's own production was sold. With this step, the two brewers are not only considered legends in the craft beer scene, but...
