More information about Let's Bee Homies
Craft brewers are usually big fans of collaborations: They meet with their colleagues from all over the world, share experiences, recipes, and beers, and work together on new ideas and delicious creations.
But the basic idea of collaboration did not originate with the ladies and gentlemen of the beer industry: In our natural world, cooperation and symbiosis among living beings are not uncommon. Many species depend on each other and only thrive when they support each other.
Plants and bees are a particularly significant team. Without the help of the nimble insects, plants would not be able to form fruits and the continued existence of the entire flora would be in acute danger. Bees, in turn, not only pollinate a large proportion of plants, they also collect pollen in the process and ultimately produce the finest honey, from which we also benefit. Win, win, win.
Ardent admirers of our bees and riveting users of their glorious honey are the brewers at Stone Brewing. They've teamed up with their friends at Deschutes Brewery from across America's West Coast to compose a flavorful paean to our bees.
Let's Bee Homies is a Hazy IPA with a whopping 7.5% alcohol and features both Oregon blackberry honey and California blossom honey alongside five varieties of hops. The golden gift of the bees runs like a red thread through the appearance, aroma and taste.

Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing's very first brewmaster, gained his first brewing experience in his own kitchen, and it was a twist of fate when he met Greg Koch in 1989. A beer revolution The two beer aficionados drank countless bottles of beer together while making wild plans. One of those plans, to start their own brewery, persisted. Steve and Greg had planned a revolution: Their goal was to free America from the shackles of industrially brewed mass-produced beers - To move away from standard beers and turn to beery works of art from creative minds and bold craft brewers. In 1996, the time had come and the first keg of Stone Brewing's own production was sold. With this step, the two brewers are not only considered legends in the craft beer scene, but...
