More information about Ruination Double IPA 2.0
Stone Brewery is one of the pioneers of craft beer and has made a huge contribution to the proliferation of creative craft beers in the United States and around the world. Among their first ever beers is the Stone Ruination IPA.
The West Coast Double India Pale Ale was among the first of its kind and brought Stone Brewing fame and glory in the beer world. Since then, the prototype has been constantly refined and improved. The brewery created the technique of hop bursting and established cold hopping of its beers. Through these achievements in hop processing, the brewers ensure maximum hops in the beer and elicit every subtle nuance of flavor from the aromatic plant.
Ruination has been one of the brewery's most popular beers from the very beginning, so the brewery has now launched another variant of it.
Ruination 2.0 is virtually the original version of the original variant: the juicy IPA is bottled unfiltered directly after the brewing process. Sans Filtre, the beer offers a rawer version and brings out the intense hop flavors even more and in an edgier and truer way.
Magnum, Nugget, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra and Azacca hop varieties were used for the IPA. The green gold shapes a hoppy character with big fruit and resin notes.

Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing's very first brewmaster, gained his first brewing experience in his own kitchen, and it was a twist of fate when he met Greg Koch in 1989. A beer revolution The two beer aficionados drank countless bottles of beer together while making wild plans. One of those plans, to start their own brewery, persisted. Steve and Greg had planned a revolution: Their goal was to free America from the shackles of industrially brewed mass-produced beers - To move away from standard beers and turn to beery works of art from creative minds and bold craft brewers. In 1996, the time had come and the first keg of Stone Brewing's own production was sold. With this step, the two brewers are not only considered legends in the craft beer scene, but...
