The special thing about Tequila Terralta Añejo is that it retains a good agave character despite its 1-year maturation in oak barrels and has not lost too much of its barrel aroma.
Overall, this premium tequila from Jalisco impresses with its pleasant warmth, green apple fruit, some smoke, vanilla and maple syrup. The finish adds notes of light caramel, oak, spices and light chocolate. Terralta brand tequila comes from the genius and tequila master Felipe Camerena. Felipe is known worldwide for his tequila creations. He actually operated Terralta in the beginning as a side project and is quite similar to G4 Tequila in some respects. In the meantime, Terralta has become quite the insider tip among tequila lovers. This makes Terralta Tequila the third brand from the legendary El Pandillo distillery in Mexico - in addition to the two brands G4 Tequila and Pasote. Terralta translates as "highlands."
