The special thing about Tequila Terralta Añejo is that it retains a good agave character despite its 1-year aging in oak barrels and has not lost itself too much in the barrel aroma.
Overall, this premium tequila from Jalisco convinces with pleasant warmth, fruit of green apple, some smoke, vanilla and maple syrup. The finish adds notes of light caramel, oak, spice and light chocolate. If that description is too much for you, this is simply a fantastic tequila that combines the delicious high-quality agave of a blanco with the benefits of an oak barrel.
Like all Terralta Tequila from Felipe Camarena in Jalisco, Mexico, this Añejo is made with very mineral water from 140 meters below the surface.

Terralta brand tequila comes from the genius and tequila master Felipe Camerena. Felipe is known worldwide for his tequila creations. He actually operated Terralta in the beginning as a side project and is quite similar to G4 Tequila in some respects. In the meantime, Terralta has become quite the insider tip among tequila lovers. This makes Terralta Tequila the third brand from the legendary El Pandillo distillery in Mexico - in addition to the two brands G4 Tequila and Pasote. Terralta translates as "highlands." All six Terralta Tequilas are made from 100% deep well water from a depth of 140 meters.
