More information about Tequila Terralta Reposado
Tequila Terralta Reposado is based on the Tequila Terralta Blanco and has another 3 months of storage in lightly toasted bourbon barrels behind it, which you can see in the subtle barrel coloring.
Just like the Blanco, it tastes very lively and clear, but of course gains some flavors from the bourbon whiskey barrel: light caramel, light leather, a bit chocolaty, light oak flavor, a bit spicy and buttery and overall also a bit oily. On the finish, you can still taste the butteriness with mild warmth and have a medium-long, sweet agave flavor in your mouth. Absolutely delicious!
Some tequila aficionados even say that this tequila has typical notes of a mezcal.
Like all Terralta Tequila, this Reposado is made with water from 140 meters deep.
