More information about Winery Klenert Black Label Pinot Gris
The Pinot Gris "Black Label" is a full-bodied wine with a strong structure and a subtle hint of wood. Its long maturation on the lees and malolactic fermentation (malolactic fermentation) give it its creamy, soft character with a wonderfully balanced freshness. Its pleasant aromas are reminiscent of almonds, green nuts, honeydew melon, ripe apples and yellow fruit.
The dry ageing in new 500-liter oak barrels (tonneau) and in multiple barriques as well as the subtle acidity give the Pinot Gris its unique structure. Reinforced by the soil conditions in Kraichgau (warm loess loam soil), which gives the grapes their full aroma, it makes the wine an ideal all-rounder, which is a real pleasure both solo and as a food companion.
