About the winery:
This traditional bodega was founded by José Quiroga and his wife Bibiana in the mid-19th century, on the edge of the world-famous Way of St. James, in Azofra, Rioja Alta region. José and his son Cayo began to age wines in the stone cellar (El calado), which is eight to ten meters deep.
With Juan José, who is married to Maria Teresa de Pablo and already represents the fifth generation, the successful fusion of modern technology and knowledge, as well as experience in wine growing and ageing, is clear. Today, the sixth generation, Juan Luis, Diego and Maite, continue to run the winery with much love and passion.
The philosophy of the Quiroga de Pablo family is: "Our history of attention to detail gives our wines a unique touch."
