More information about Brandhaus7 Plum

We have chosen so-called Renekloden as the fruit base for our Brandhaus 7 Zw etschge.

How does the Brandhaus7 Zwetschge taste?

The Brandhaus7 Zwetschge tastes wonderfully fruity. Due to the use of Renekloden, it is significantly tangier than other plum brandies.

What are Renekloden?

This variety is much more tangy, aromatic and fruity-fine than the regular plum. The fruits are bulbous round, yellow-green and very fleshy. They almost do not come off the stone, which is why they are hardly found as tableware. However, they are quite wonderful as a fruit for firing.

Fire house7

Brandhaus 7 already looks back on a centuries-old history - far away from the hustle and bustle, somewhere in the depths of the Black Forest. We love living and working here so steeped in tradition and close to nature. And all because we want to preserve our 400-year-old farm. We, that is distiller Sophie Masson and her husband, who awakened the family farm from its slumber and breathed new life into the old distillery.
