Castell Miquel
Castell Miquel symbolizes the beginning of authentic Mallorcan wines and is the only remaining bodega in Mallorca. According to legend, an angel advised a peasant in the countryside to plant a vine, and it was not long before they became the best of the whole island. However, the competition and the severe phylloxera plague ruined the Castel Miquel. Fortunately, Professor Michael Popp and the fertile lands met in the 90s. In a grandiose location, in the midst of the green mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana, is today the "little Garden of Eden". With the philosophy of "appreciation and attentiveness for top wines" in focus, the people at Castell Miquel live, work and produce in perfect harmony with nature. Here, state-of-the-art technology and analytical precision come together with traditional craftsmanship to ensure heavenly wine enjoyment of the highest quality.
