More information about Château de l'Aubrade Bordeaux Supérieur
This excellent Bordeaux may carry the additional rating "Supérieur", because the harvest quantity of the vineyards was particularly reduced and was below the limit of 45 hl/hectare.
A high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon provides an intense fruit of black currants, blackberries and morello cherries.
On the palate, it is very expressive with good richness and complexity. Extremely round and well structured with notes of cherry, raspberry and currant, this Bordeaux Supérieur is a real classic of which you should always have a bottle in the cellar!

Vignobles Lobre
The Lobre family began their winemaking experience in 1734 in Rimons, a small town southeast of Bordeaux. Their amazing success began in 1974, when Jean-Pierre and Paulette Lobre acquired a large estate in Rimons, now the Château de L'Aubrade winery. Jean-Pierre and Paulette passed on their passion for wine to Jean-Christophe, their eldest son. By 1995, Jean-Christophe had successfully completed his winemaking studies and then took over the family legacy. Today, the estate covers 70 hectares in the Entre-deux-Mers region and is on a par with a Grand Cru Classés in terms of its cellars. The estate focuses on symbiosis with nature and pursues near-natural viticulture with biodiversity. The white wines can convince with their depth and longevity and the red wines with their elegance and complexity.
