More information about Lanzerac Pionier Pinotage 2020
The grapes used for the Lanzerac Pionier Pinotage come from a single vineyard and produce a red wine that shimmers an impressive dark red in the glass. Aromas of plums and red fruits, which are typical of the Pinotage grape variety, pamper the nose and palate of the connoisseur. Complex and velvety soft, the Lanzerac Pionier Pinotage caresses the palate and lingers for a long time. Over time, the red wine, which has matured for 21 months in barriques, will develop notes of chocolate and caramel. Enjoy the Lanzerac Pionier Pinotage either on its own or with spicy dishes with dark meat or duck. Incidentally, the name of the red wine is reminiscent of the first Pinotage that was bottled at Lanzerac in 1959.
