More information about Lindemans Kriek
Can a beer with cherries even taste good? But it sure does!
Kriek from Lindemans really is a very special brewing specialty from Belgium: It is neither bottom-fermented nor top-fermented, but is fermented spontaneously Wild yeasts and lactic acid bacteria from the air ensure fermentation in the open vats This technique is typical for Belgium and is rarely practised in other countries Another unique feature is the second fermentation with fruit The Kriek is married with fresh cherry juice in the second fermentation cycle The fruit not only ensures a stunning taste, but also the extremely tempting, cherry-red color of the fruit beer
Lindemans Kriek is a cherry bomb that you absolutely have to try!
The Belgian specialty beer flows into the glass in a magnificent ruby red and shimmers in all facets of cherry red A fine foam in the color of blushing cherry blossoms crowns the beer and at the same time exudes a siren-like scent of freshly harvested, deep red cherries The overwhelming scent of fresh cherries is joined by a fine, floral aroma reminiscent of cherry blossoms on a warm spring afternoon The taste does not disappoint after the olfactory first impression: Cherry explosion at its finest
With its fresh and fruity effervescence, Lindemans Kriek is a taste experience that you won't want to forget in a hurry
