Sicilian Moro blood oranges in demeter quality were procured for this spirit from our trusted retailer.
Martin had always wanted to do this because there was a schnapps distiller who always boasted of having the best (otherwise men tend to boast of having the longest). That's where we wanted to go. So we got some blood oranges, soaked them in the best neutral alcohol and macerated them. Just so that there weren't too many bitter aromas.
What came out? A real grenade! It has won several awards in really tough competitions (e.g. Meininger's ISW award for "Spirituose national Obst") and is a real pleasure to drink. Not everyone does it, and not everyone does it as well as we do
Side pleasure: a real connoisseur once said "Tastes better than the ......!". Yeah!

Martin Neumann had the idea to distill high-quality and regional spirits. He wanted to create something unique and different from what already existed.
