More information about Mairena Ocasión Bonarda 2017
This Bonarda tells the story of its variety from beginning to end. A vineyard over 40 years old, from which the best grapes are harvested for this wine.
Carbonic fermentation takes place in the winery to bring out the intense flavor and aromas of red berries, which later combine with the notes of aging in French oak barrels, including vanilla and hints of chocolate.
Lively aroma of fresh red fruits such as raspberries and cherries, while being earthy and soft. Delicate tart note that gives the wine an interesting freshness as well as nice length. Medium-bodied, which absolutely tolerates the barrique aging in French oak for 6 months in parts.
50% of the volume was aged for 6 months in barriques.
