More information about Marge's elderflower syrup
In my family, we usually drink water. But there are days when I want a bit of flavor in my drink. For such moments, I have developed syrups from various fruits that are characterized by a particularly intense fruity taste. Elderflower syrup is a classic that I couldn't avoid. The flowers of the black elderberry are very suitable for preserving. I have made a juice from fresh elderflowers, which tastes very fruity when refined with lemon juice. Incidentally, I still collect the flowers myself to this day.

We like to drink elderflower syrup with hot water. When I have guests, I like to mix the syrup with Prosecco on ice.
