Marge's strawberry fruit spread

I always associate strawberries with the smell of early summer and my grandmother's cozy kitchen. My grandmother would add a little lemon juice and vanilla to the pot and the whole house would smell of strawberries. And still today in my jars "strawberry fields for ever!" sang the Beatles more than 50 years ago.

And that's exactly how it is: it doesn't get any better than that! For me, strawberries are the ultimate fruit firework. These small, bright red, uniquely fragrant fruits make my heart skip a beat. The taste

The ripe strawberry is very sweet and has a delicious aroma. The freshly picked fruit tastes best because it has the most flavor. That's why I always cook my strawberry delicacies with freshly picked strawberries from the region.

Served: with everything. Am I exaggerating? Just a little. Rolls, bread, scones, cheese, quark, ice cream, cakes, tarts. It just tastes good!
